Our Client is an established underground hard rock mining operations producing base metals (polymetallic deposits). Renowned  for their usage of advanced fleet of cutting-edge autonomous mining/drilling technology, they maintain a strong focus on productivity, safety, and a positive team culture. They are currently seeking an experienced Bogger Operator to support underground production and development.

The roster is 7/7 or 14/14, Days and Nights rotating shift roster and a 12 per day working hours. Flexible working options as  residential-live-in NSW based, DIDO from surrounding areas and/or Fly-In-Fly Out from Sydney/Other Cities to Point of Hire.

Requirements:

The role involves charge up activities in both underground mining development and production environments, including the safe preparation, handling, and detonation of explosives in accordance with site procedures and legislative requirements.

You are also required to carry out and:

  • Operate boggers (CAT R1700/2900 and/or Sandvik) safely and efficiently, handling bogging, stockpiling to truck and backfilling.
  • Operate underground loaders via tele-remote systems to load, haul, and dump ore.
  • Keep trucks operating at full efficiency while ensuring correct separation of ore from high to low grade, marginal and waste rock.
  • Operate underground loaders (LHD) to remove muck from development headings or stopes, clearing the way for truck loading and continuous production.
  • Ensuring the development faces are clean by leaving the the work area safe and tidy (free of loose muck), oversize rocks, and hazards ready for the next blast cycle.
  • Operate and maintain machinery safely and effectively to meet production targets and outputs
  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor site quality standards

About You:

  • Proven experience operating underground Boggers/ Tele-Remote (Sandvik and/or CAT)
  • Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
  • NSW Work Safely at Heights Certificate
