About the Position:

NSWRL is seeking applications for the position of League & Club Support Coordinator (Relief & Projects).

This position is a support position within our Community Rugby League department that comprises two core elements:

1) League & Club Support Coordinator responsibilities on a relief basis to cover staff absences, vacancies or other community rugby league priorities (estimated 40% of role).

2) Community Rugby League project work (estimated 60% of role).

The position will be based at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence at Sydney Olympic Park.

Major responsibilities include:


• Assist in the development of all relevant Club and League plans (strategic, operational, facilities).


• Support the smooth running of competitions which includes structures, draws and game day operations.


• Supporting and assisting with rugby league development and promotional activities.


• Supporting judiciary and tribunal processes.


• Administer club and competition compliance.


• Ensuring league and club compliance with NSWRL policies, rules and regulations.


• Community rugby league project work as directed.

About You:

The successful candidate will:


• A passion and sound understanding of Rugby League, with knowledge at club, player and coach level.


• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.


• A demonstrated ability to apply a firm and consistent approach.


• Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.


• Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office.


• A current NSW Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check.

Consistent with the nature of the sporting industry, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings and reasonable additional hours as is required to fulfil the requirements of this position. Remuneration is set in recognition of this requirement.
