Your team:

The Workplace Technology team is a dynamic support team that provides a single contact point for ASX Staff that are seeking End User Computing and Meeting Room technical assistance or support. Working in a small team that is responsible for phone, email, logged tickets and in-person support for all level 1 and 2 tickets for our end users.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide end to end support for IT requests raised via phone, email, ticketing system and in-person

  • Ensure requests are logged accurately within the internal ticketing system (ServiceNow) for reporting and fault analysis

  • Action requests within appropriate time frames

  • Perform installation and technical support of hardware and software to ASX staff

  • Problem Management for general and major faults

  • Support of audio-visual systems, meeting rooms and event facilities

  • The role requires some out of hours work and has a rostered On-Call component

  • The role is flexible but primarily based on-site at the ASX office in the Sydney CBD. Additional support for an office at Gore Hill, as well as remotely across offices in Australia and internationally will also be periodically required.

Your experience and qualifications:

Must have:

  • Provision of excellent customer service and support to stakeholders at all enterprise levels

  • Support, administration and management of key enterprise platforms including:

‒ Active Directory
‒ Microsoft SCCM / Intune
‒ Windows 11
‒ Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
‒ Remote connectivity/VPN

  • Experience identifying trends and root cause of problems

  • ITIL understanding

  • In depth technical understanding of Microsoft software and operating systems

  • Strong experience supporting laptops, desktops and mobile devices

  • Experience supporting a broad range of corporate, financial and development applications and platforms

Nice to have:

  • ITIL Certification

  • Practical experience managing Windows Group Policy

  • Application packaging/deployment skills

  • Support of Virtual Machine environments
