About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team at Oriem Pty Ltd in St Marys, NSW. This full-time role will see you operating a range of manufacturing equipment to support our production processes and meet our clients' needs.

Day Shift: 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday

Or

Afternoon Shift: 1:30pm - 9:30pm Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing

  • Operating a variety of machinery and equipment and other manufacturing tools
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment in line with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to identify and resolve any issues
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and achieve production targets
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to equipment usage and maintenance
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate a range of industrial equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
