The Gaming Attendant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service within the gaming area while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This includes assisting patrons, operating gaming machines, processing payouts, and maintaining a safe, responsible, and welcoming environment. A current Advanced RCG is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet and assist patrons in a courteous and professional manner

· Monitor and maintain gaming machines, performing basic troubleshooting where necessary

· Handle cash and process payouts accurately and securely

· Enforce responsible gambling practices in line with Advanced RCG training and venue policies

· Identify and respond appropriately to patrons displaying signs of problem gambling

· Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across the gaming floor

· Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements, including gaming and liquor laws

· Check patron identification to ensure compliance with age and entry restrictions

· Communicate current promotions, jackpots, and venue information to patrons

· Escalate customer issues or machine faults to the appropriate staff or supervisor

· Assist with general operational tasks including stock control, machine resets, and basic cleaning duties


Skills and Attributes:

· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

· High level of integrity and attention to detail

· Good understanding of responsible gambling principles and procedures

· Basic technical and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Availability for shift work including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certification (mandatory)

· A current ARCG is required for this role.

· Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

· Previous experience in gaming, hospitality, or customer service preferred

· Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing light manual tasks

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $26.70 – $33.38 per hour
