About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic casual Sales Assistant to join our team at ST IVES JEWELLERS' in St Ives NSW 2075. As a Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of our retail operation, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of our jewellery store.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Demonstrating and explaining product features to customers, helping them find the perfect piece of jewellery including fine and fashion jewellery
  • Processing sales transactions and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment
  • Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
  • Performing other duties as required to support the store's operations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the jewellery industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • A friendly, positive and helpful attitude, with a genuine passion for customer satisfaction
  • Minimum of 2-3 days weekly
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Possibility of permanent part time role for the right candidate
  • Minimum 6 months retail or customer service experience required
  • Must have legal right to work in Australia
