Trainer and Assessor – Certificate IV

As a Trainer and Assessor for our RTO, you'll deliver high-quality training and assessment for ensuring students have the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the industry. You'll work in a supportive environment with access to excellent facilities and resources.

Full-Time or Contract work available

  1. Develop lesson plans, resources, and assessment tools to support student learning.
  2. Mentor and support students throughout their training journey.
  3. Assess student performance against competency standards and RTO requirements.
  4. Keep accurate and compliant training and assessment records.
  5. Ensure all training meets ASQA standards, industry regulations, and WHS requirements.
  6. Contribute to validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.
  7. Stay up to date with plumbing industry practices and integrate them into your training.
What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction (or higher)
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent as recognised by ASQA).
  • At least 3 years of recent, relevant industry experience.
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience training or assessing in an RTO or similar environment.
