We are looking for a Project Manager to take the lead on this milestone initiative. This position is based in our Belmont Head Office, working Monday - Friday with some ad-hoc site travel required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of professionals, guiding them to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate and direct project managers, construction teams and subcontractors, overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with design, quality, and other client specifications.
- Managing all aspects of the project to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Provide and track relevant Project goals and KPIs, that are aligned with the Company's business objectives
- Developing detailed project plans, including scheduling deliverables, estimating costs, and selecting appropriate tools, materials, and equipment.
- Tracking and managing inventory, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Leading and supervising construction teams, subcontractors, and consultants both onsite and offsite.
- Ensuring all construction activities adhere to design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Maintaining clear and proactive communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and progress.
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualification in Project Management or relevant technical field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high performance teams.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Valid Driver's Licence – "C" Class.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, delegate, schedule, and plan.
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
- PC proficiency with advanced IT, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook MS Project, and Project management software skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with technical working groups.
- Ability to analyse, manage and mitigate risks and achieve consensus through negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to travel to other worksites and/or client premises as required.
