Already one of Australia's most successful luxury brands, CAMILLA is continuing to colour the world. We are on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Garment Technician to join our Womenswear Tribe – with a strong focus on denim and woven fashion.

This role is suited to a seasoned technician with 5–7 years' experience in womenswear and an understanding of denim construction and garment fit. CAMILLA is constantly reaching for the stars on our journey and we're seeking someone equally driven to make a difference in our Tribe.

What a day in the Garment Technician life at CAMILLA looks like:

  • Working closely with design and buying across the full womenswear collection
  • Leading fit sessions by measuring garments, commenting on construction, fit, and finishes
  • Creating initial tech packs in collaboration with design and maintaining them through all development stages
  • Championing CAMILLA's fit, quality, and attention to detail
  • Daily liaison with the buying team and international suppliers (India and China) on re-fits, labelling, grading, and fabrics
  • Reviewing print strike-offs, lab dips, and fabric submissions with design and communicating feedback to suppliers

Our perfect Garment Technician comes with..

  • 5–7 years' experience in a womenswear environment, ideally with denim experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Fashion Design, Pattern Making and/or Grading
  • A deep understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabrications, especially in denim and woven categories
  • A genuine awareness of trends and the ability to interpret these in a technical setting
  • Experience in footwear and accessories is a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of fabric testing and quality assurance processes
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • A proactive and organised approach, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Solid experience with garment specs and tech packs (Illustrator skills desirable)
