Wyee Child Care Centre is expanding its team in 2025

Wyee Child Care Centre is a small privately owned centre that caters for 50 children.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about child development and learning, who has a nurturing and caring nature, enjoys working within a close-knit team environment, and is motivated and happy.

This position is to commence ideally on Monday the 16th of June, across 4 days a week with the potential of a permanent part-time contract and with the possibility to add more days/hours.

Hours will vary between hours a week.

This role will require:

  • Supervise and interact positively with children between 2 - 5 years of age.

  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment

  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.

  • Be able to follow centre policies and procedures.

  • Assist with routine tasks throughout the day.

  • Positively guide children's behaviours.

  • Have previous experience programming for children between 2 - 5 years of age.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold an ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early childhood education

  • Current First Aid certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training.

  • Child Protection training.

  • Experience working with children aged 2 - 5 in an Early Childhood setting.

  • General computer/iPad knowledge.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
