Job Description

As the Corporate Tax Technology Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of the Corporate Tax Technology Roadmap. This involves managing end-to-end technology project lifecycles, overseeing governance, and ensuring effective change management and user adoption. You will align cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and co-ordinating the delivery innovative solutions for complex tax technology initiatives. You will consolidate project statuses, maintain clear reporting and governance frameworks, and drive successful delivery of key initiatives from corporate tax software to reporting and forecasting solutions. .

Your Opportunity

This is a newly created role offering you the chance to lead and deliver transformative technology initiatives within the Corporate Tax Group. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the tax technology landscape, enhancing requirements capabilities through innovative tools, and implementing systemic changes to drive efficiency.

Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of highly visible internal and external projects, providing the opportunity to collaborate widely and create a meaningful impact on the firm's strategic goals. How Are You Extraordinary?

  • You are a project management pro, with a love of big-picture thinking and the skills to see projects through from beginning to end; such as establishing project details, performance measurement baselines, key milestones, work breakdown structures, and resource planning.
  • You are a relationship builder, with keen communication skills and the knack for building and managing relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders. You will understand and convey the corporate tax team's technology requirements to the technology team and ensure that the technology solutions delivered are robust, user-friendly and compliant.
  • You are at the cutting edge of technology, and love learning how to use new technology to solve problems and enhance your work.

Your Experience

You bring a proven track record in leading and delivering technology projects and programs, with expertise in:

  • Project and Program Management: Managing end-to-end technology initiatives with strong governance frameworks.
  • Change Management: Delivering onboarding, training, and user adoption strategies to ensure smooth technology rollouts, obtaining relevant feedback and ensuring necessary updates and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating effectively with internal and external teams, gathering requirements, and managing expectations.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identifying risks proactively and recommending and implementing workable mitigation strategies.
  • Technology Oversight: Familiarity with tools such as CCH Integrator, Thomson Reuters OneSource, or similar tax technologies is an advantage.
  • Corporate and / or trust income tax experience would be an additional advantage.

You are adept at collaborating across functional groups, bringing insight from previous roles, and strategically leveraging existing knowledge and tools to deliver successful outcomes. Experience within a professional services environment or networks within the firm further position you as a strong candidate for this role.
