About the Role

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. As a Fitter & Turner, you'll be working within a dedicated, close-knit team and will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and fault-finding of industrial pumping equipment. You'll also travel to client sites across NSW, with occasional overnight stays (1–2 weeks per month).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of industrial pump systems
• Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics
• Operate and interpret engineering measuring devices to calculate dimensions and tolerances
• Work both on-site and in the workshop as required
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery

Skills & Qualifications Essential:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
• 1–2 years' experience in maintenance and fault finding
• Valid Australian 'C' class manual driver's licence
• Forklift licence
• White card
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pass regular drug & alcohol testing
• Physically fit and comfortable working in challenging environments
• Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability
• Ability to work independently and within a small team
• Willingness to travel and stay away for work when required
