We are an exciting new café in the heart of Slacks Creek, bringing a fresh and modern twist to classic breakfast and brunch favourites. Our vision is to create a vibrant, welcoming space that celebrates flavour, creativity, and community.

We're now looking for a passionate and experienced Café Chef to join the team.

About the role

This is not your typical back-of-house position. We're offering a rare opportunity for a chef to be part of something from the very beginning.

This is a casual role with a high possibility of changing into full time, perfect for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced yet positive environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating a dynamic and unique breakfast/brunch menu that reflects your style and expertise
  • Preparing high-quality, beautifully presented dishes with consistency
  • Managing kitchen operations including stock, prep, hygiene, and service
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
  • Collaborating with owners and front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years' experience as a breakfast chef, café chef or similar role
  • A passion for cooking and a flair for modern breakfast and brunch dishes
  • Experience creating menus and recipes from scratch (bonus if you've worked in new café launches)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen management
  • Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and high attention to detail
  • Have full legal working rights in Australia
