The Opportunity

The Future Fund is hiring a Business Partner, Inclusive Practices to lead the design and implementation of contemporary inclusion strategies across the Agency. This role is central to shaping an inclusive and psychologically safe workplace culture, that reflects our values and supports strategic priorities. As a change agent, you will embed inclusive practices into people processes, leadership behaviours, and operational culture.

Reporting to the Head of Employee Experience, you will work across the Agency to deliver initiatives that foster equity, diversity, and belonging. You will lead internal performance monitoring and insight reporting, support compliance submissions and collaborate with external partners to bring best-practice thinking into our organisation. With a data-driven, policy-informed, and engagement-based approach, you will help position the Future Fund as an employer of choice and ensure every employee can thrive.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of an Agency-wide inclusion strategies, programs, and initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.

  • Act as a central touchpoint for Affinity Networks and the Inclusion Council to foster a diverse and equitable workplace.

  • Monitor inclusion efforts, identify gaps, and develop KPIs that promote leadership accountability.

  • Champion systemic initiatives that embed inclusion into daily operations and support a psychologically safe workplace.

  • Partner with business units and the People, Culture & Inclusion team to integrate inclusive practices into talent, leadership, and policy frameworks.

  • Lead internal performance monitoring and insight reporting, including workforce data analysis and recommendations.

  • Coordinate compliance submissions, including data for the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and collaborate with external partners such as Diversity Council Australia to advance inclusion goals.

About You

As a strategic and collaborative business partner with a passion for creating meaningful change, you will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Public Policy, or a related field.

  • Proven experience leading inclusion initiatives within complex organisational environments.

  • A strong understanding of contemporary inclusion principles, frameworks, and challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and deliver evidence-based solutions.

  • Experience working with senior leaders and influencing across diverse teams.

  • A commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive culture where all employees feel valued and empowered.
