The role

As the
Contracts Coordinator
, you'll be the go-to person for managing facility maintenance contracts, offering technical advice, and supporting both the team and service providers to keep
Sydney Olympic Park
's assets safe and operational. You'll be hands-on in making sure maintenance work meets contractual requirements, budgets are kept in check, and any issues are sorted quickly so that events and visitors aren't disrupted.

You will juggle the day-to-day demands of asset management while keeping the park looking its best, all within budget, and managing a high workload with tight deadlines and compliance requirements. You'll be expected to monitor contractor performance, ensure compliance with legislation and standards, and work closely with stakeholders to resolve issues and keep everything on track.

What you will bring to the role

  • Previous experience in a similar role with experience in work health and safety of electrical and mechanical assets
  • Previous experience using maintenance management system to review work requests raised by various stakeholders and action works by raising appropriate work orders for suitable contractors as per the cost estimate.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in facilities management and/or knowledge and practical asset maintenance management experience in FM Hard services such as electrical, fire, Hydraulics and mechanical assets.
