Your Role

We're seeking a dynamic Protective Services Specialist to help us stay ahead of security risks and ensure compliance across our physical security environments.

In this role, you'll lead physical security site risk assessments, provide expert guidance on property projects to meet IAG's Physical Security Building Standards, and support the delivery of strategic protective services initiatives. You'll be hands-on in daily security operations, with a focus on electronic security systems, and ready to step in for critical incident response as required.

Success in this role means strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors, active participation in risk management activities, and contributing to investigations and intelligence gathering with a mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience in and technical knowledge of risk, assurance, electronic security and/or technology.
  • Work experience and operational knowledge of Corporate Security environment. Undergraduate/Postgraduate degrees or other qualifications required to perform the role at a fully competent level.
  • Relevant General Insurance, Banking or Government experience.
  • Broad range of knowledge and relationships across the financial services industry, both on a local and global level to remain aware of current and emerging trends.
  • Action oriented, drives results, instils trust, eye for detail, resilient, good with ambiguity, is courageous.
  • Ability to work and collaborate at all levels across IAG.
  • Must be able to work from an IAG office a minimum of 10 days in a calendar month, this may increase to meet business requirements.
