Black Rubber Melbourne has an exciting opportunity available for a Service Tyre Fitter to join our team with a home base flexibly based at either our Brooklyn or Dandenong South sites based on our customer needs - willing to negotiate with the right person for the job

What You'll Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • On-site and workshop-based tyre fitting and maintenance
  • Monitoring fleet performance and addressing tyre wear or damage
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting tyre, wheel, or rim issues
  • Performing pressure checks, rotations, puncture repairs, and balancing
  • Delivering tyres to local customers and unloading containers
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Accurately completing service documentation
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service experience
  • Working to company and industry safety standards

What You'll Bring

  • Previous truck/bus tyre fitting experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own daily schedule
  • A current LR driver's licence
  • A Cert II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (highly regarded but not essential)
