Professional Pump Services and Irrigation (PPS) is a privately owned and operated business that has been operating in its present location for over 20 years. PPS has built a solid reputation for its efficient service and reliable operation in many sectors including domestic, rural, agriculture, aquaculture, mining, municipal and industrial.

We are currently seeking a self-driven individual, that is a team player to join our company workshop division. You must be reliable, have a strong work ethic and a strong mechanical aptitude. All necessary training will be provided to the successful applicant in this position.

The successful applicant must be proficient in the following:

  • Trade Certified in either mechanical or fitting background
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Forklift licence
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Work in a team environment
  • Have some leadership skills
  • Ability to work away
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to pass drug/alcohol testing
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Past pump experience ideal but not necessary.

The position comes with a remuneration package in line with the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
