Senior Barber

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled, passionate, and reliable Full-Time Barber to join our team in Melbourne. You'll be responsible for delivering high quality haircuts, beard trims and grooming services while creating a welcoming experience for every client. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their craft, has strong attention to detail and enjoys building long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of barbering services, including haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves and styling
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on styles and products
• Maintain a clean, professional and well organized workstation at all times
• Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent working condition
• Contribute to a positive and friendly shop culture
• Stay up to date with current trends, styles, and techniques
• Handle appointments and walk-ins efficiently
• Upsell grooming products and services when appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a barber (apprentices considered if highly skilled)
• Certificate III in Barbering or equivalent qualification
• Strong technical skills in cutting, fading, and beard work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Punctual, reliable and well presented
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Available to work Saturdays

Pay: $24.95 – $49.68 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
