Tax Accountant

Your new company

We have partnered with a medium-sized, client-focused accounting firm in the heart of Canberra City to recruit an Accountant specialising in complex Tax. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and build your own portfolio within an established book of high-net-worth clients.

Your new role

  • Prepare and lodge complex Individual Tax Returns and activity statements
  • Lead client meetings to deliver tailored tax advice and strategic reviews
  • Utilise Xero to streamline workflows, ensure data accuracy and drive efficiency
  • Provide ongoing support and insights to help clients manage their broader tax portfolios
  • Develop and grow your own client base alongside existing relationships

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a dedicated individual who is eager to step into an established team and grow your career within the Tax space. You will have experience working within Individual Tax Returns and a salary is negotiable depending on level of experience.
