About the role:
Uniting is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our expanding IT Service Desk team in Parramatta CBD. This Full-time position will provide first-line IT support to all Uniting staff, ensuring efficient and reliable technology services and assistance to our frontline teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing remote Tier 1 support through phone, email or ticketing system (ServiceNow)
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, resolve, liaise and prioritise incidents, problems and requests.
  • Communicating to users the progress of their requests/incidents from receipt to closure.
  • Accurate logging of service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with a variety of support groups to resolve incidents.

Skills and experience
:

  • Previously worked in a Customer Service, Service Desk, or IT Support role.
  • Knowledge or understanding of Information Technology hardware and software theory and practical.
  • High level of customer service skills and commitment to addressing customer enquiries.
  • Substantial analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience with Ticketing systems and remote support software.

Even better:

  • Experience with high volumes, data entry and tight deadlines in a medium to large-scale IT environment
  • Ability to accurately identify and classify symptoms and possible causes of problems to

ensure appropriate assignment to specialist areas.

  • Ability to manage Service Desk calls and tickets to specified Service Level Agreement time frames.
