Your New Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be tasked with a challenging variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • General date entry and maintenance of financial records

  • End-to-end accounts payable processing

  • Fortnightly payroll preparation and related reconciliations

  • Customer and supplier invoice processing

  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies

  • Providing general support to finance team members as required

  • Assist with month-end close procedures

  • Supporting the preparation and lodgment of BAS

  • Performing bank reconciliations

About you
The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Completion or near completion of degree in Accounting, Finance Commerce, or related field

  • Sound understanding of core accounting principles and foundational finance knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks

  • A proactive and professional attitude, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • A personable and resilient disposition, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the business

  • A self-starter mindset with initiative and a problem-solving approach

  • The ability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes and environments

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate or above)

  • Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems (highly regarded but not essential)
