**Accelerated Midwifery Graduate Program**
- Permanent part time - 32 hours per week (0.8EFT)
- Based at Box Hill Hospital or Angliss Hospital

**About the role**

Our Accelerated Graduate Midwifery Program is progressive, responsive and innovative. We use the latest evidence to develop our program study days together with regular feedback from our graduates.

We support and facilitate the development of a well prepared, high quality, safe midwifery workforce committed to improving health outcomes.

The 6-month program allows you to consolidate your skills in Birthing, with additional time offered in other areas, such as Special Care Nursery, Postnatal and Antenatal Clinic.

Our Learning and Teaching team and clinical staff provide a supportive environment that encourages the development of clinical skills, reflective practice and a sense of professional identity and accountability.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Post Graduate qualifications in Midwifery
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
