Social & Influencer Director

Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for culture, creativity, and people? We're on the hunt for an Influencer & Social Director to lead our team - someone ready to shape how the brands we work with show up, connect, and get talked about.

Based in our Paddington office (with flexible working on offer), you'll lead a talented team across social, influencer, and content to create work that earns attention and drives real results.

You'll work closely with our GM and senior leadership team to define our agency's influencer and social offering, working with some of Australia and the world's most loved brands, and making sure we stay ahead in a constantly evolving space.

What we're looking for

  • 8 - 10 years' agency experience in social, influencer, or integrated communications
  • Deep understanding of how influencer, social, and PR work together to shape brand reputation
  • Proven leadership experience building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker who links cultural insights with brand and business objectives
  • Strong creative instincts with the ability to guide standout social content and campaigns
  • Confidence as a client partner and trusted senior advisor
  • Expertise in creator economy, platform ecosystems, and influencer measurement
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - you can inspire both clients and internal teams

What you'll do

  • Lead the Influencer & Social team - setting standards, processes, and best practice
  • Shape and evolve the agency's social and influencer strategy to stay ahead of trends - driving agency profile, sector leadership and contribute to opportunity inbounds
  • Oversee creative and strategic output across campaigns and always-on programs
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to deliver integrated, earned-first work
  • Provide senior counsel on platform strategies, creator partnerships, and community engagement
  • Build and nurture relationships with top creators, talent managers, and platform partners
  • Drive innovation, spotting opportunities for new products, partnerships, and tools
  • Foster a supportive, ambitious and inclusive team culture
