About the role
The Communications and Content Coordinator will play a pivotal role in connecting Tennis Queensland's people, programs, and purpose through clear, engaging, and consistent communication. This role focuses on developing and delivering high-quality communications that strengthen relationships across all stakeholder groups, including coaches, players, clubs, schools, partners, and the wider community.
With a strong emphasis on content creation, storytelling, and information flow, the role ensures that key messages are effectively shared through appropriate channels. While primarily supporting the Coach, Competitive Play, and Schools portfolios, the role operates across the entire organisation to enhance Tennis Queensland's voice, visibility, and impact.
In this role you will:
- Produce high-quality written, visual, and digital content that celebrates the achievements of Queensland's tennis community.
 - Develop social media and web content that promotes events, milestones, and initiatives across TQ's portfolios.
 - Deliver tailored communication to key stakeholder groups including coaches, event organisers, clubs, and schools through newsletters, EDMs, and updates.
 - Provide communication advice and support to internal teams for projects, announcements, and stakeholder engagement.
 - Maintain up-to-date content on the Tennis Queensland website and social channels.
 - Monitor analytics and engagement metrics, applying insights to improve future communications.
 
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Media, Communications, Marketing or similar.
 - Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media.
 - Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
 - Demonstrated ability to create engaging content across multiple platforms
 - Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
 - Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis QLD
