About the role:

Duo Tax is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team in this newly created full-time role to support the execution of the marketing strategy. As the Marketing Assistant, you will be reporting to and working closely with the marketing team and director to implement a number of projects, campaigns and initiatives.

If your creativity flourishes in writing and you have a zeal for digital marketing, this role might be your calling.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns, including social media, email, direct mail and digital marketing.

  • Assist with the creating and implementation of the social media assets from static posts to reels.

  • Support the event coordinator in all aspects of events such as trade shows, expos, product launches, and customer events.

  • Assist in the development of brand strategies, aligning with overall marketing objectives and positioning.

  • Assist the copywriter in crafting and refining web copy, blog entries, and additional marketing assets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing position.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • The confidence and willingness to contribute ideas and suggest innovative ways to achieve the same or better outcomes.

  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing techniques and tools, including email marketing, social media, and digital advertising.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with marketing automation software are a plus (not necessary as we can train you).
