Please note: This role is a combination of long and shorter shifts, full availability for work required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with complex behaviours
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities that foster social connections and skill development
  • Ensure a safe environment for clients and promote positive behaviour interventions
  • Promote independence and empower clients to make choices
  • Document client progress and report any concerns to the relevant team members
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and mental health issues
  • Certificate III in Individual Disability Support or established experience
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle required
  • A current NDIS Workers Screening Card and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • MAYBO, MHFA, Crisis Intervention or Alcohol/Addiction training highly desired
