About the Centre/Service

MCFC is a not-for-profit ECEC service, combining Long Day Care with integrated 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten. We are located near Monash University Clayton Campus, supporting the University and the local community. MCFC relocated to a beautiful new building in January 2025.

Description

Casual Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualified Educators; Please email for a full Position description. This is a great position if you are seeking flexibility in your working hours. Our educators are employed under the Professional Community Standard, which supports higher than Childrens Services award rates. MCFC is a child-safe environment. General Position objectives are:

  • To assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a high-quality educational program.
  • To work co-operatively as a member of a team, and actively contribute to the provision of a high quality, developmentally appropriate educational & care program for children enrolled at Monash Community Family Co-operative (MCFC)
  • To carry out the duties of a Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator, as appropriate for qualification.
  • To operate in a professional manner at all times to ensure MCFC meets the requirements of the National Education and Care Law and Regulations, other relevant law and regulations, including Child Safe Standards

Qualifications

Childrens Services Employee Level 3: or Childrens Services Employee level 4. Diploma – Not In Charge of Group. Applicants must hold a minimum of a Approved Certificate III or Diploma level education and care qualification. A list of approved qualifications is available from ACECQA website: .
