Boton's service team has been established in the Australian market for several years and currently services a majority of mining customers in Australia – Our service business is a full scope conveyor maintenance and rubber lining supplier business. With an established workforce and reputable customer base we are now looking to expand our capacity and capabilities. POSITION DESCRIPTION : CONVEYOR TECHNICIAN

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the Conveyor technician's tasks will include but are not limited to working on customer mine sites, preparing equipment for shutdowns, conducting conveyor maintenance on idlers and skirts, giving a helping hand to trades, and inspecting conveyors and associated components.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Relevant hands-on conveyor maintenance experience in a shutdown environment gained over 2 or more years in a mining industry.

QUALIFICATIONS / TICKETS

• Current driver's license (Desirable)
• Confined space, gas test atmosphere, working at heights within 2 years (Essential)
• High Risk Work License including Forklift, Basic Rigging (Desirable)
• Ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening as required
• Hold a valid (or willing to obtain) a National Police Clearance.
