The Role

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist at BePositive Therapy you will work with clients in their homes or other community environments.

Your duties will include:

  • Conducting assessments, such as functional capacity review, family support plans, assistive technology, home modification.
  • Report writing and case noting.
  • Attendance at client case conferencing.
  • Designing and implementing therapy plans to assist clients to reach their goals.
  • Receipt of weekly supervision and providing supervision to direct supervisees.

Skills and Experience

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Strong evidence of well-developed communication skills
  • An ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated experience working in OT paediatrics
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • A desire to learn and commit to regular continuing professional development.
  • A commitment to engagement in quality improvement activities
  • An ability to mentor others and role model quality performance
  • An ability to speak and write in English

Desired (but certainly not essential)

  • Knowledge of the NDIS or Aged Care
  • Experience working in the NDIS or Aged Care
