West End Mazda is Australia's leading Mazda dealership and we are looking for the next experienced warehouse professional to join our team

We are looking for an experienced Storeperson / Driver to join our team based at Blacktown. Please submit your resume along with a cover letter, detailing why you are interested in this position, offering up to $1125 gross (before tax) per week.

To be successful in this position you must have:

  • Current Forklift licence. Preferred but not essential.
  • Recent pick/pack experience using a RF bar code scanner in a busy, large warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Physically fit as you will be required to lift car parts.
  • Be able to take instructions.
  • Use initiative.
  • Be punctual and well organised.
  • Current licence with a good driving record.  Must be able to drive Manual.
  • Knowledge of the local Sydney Metropolitan area.
  • This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced storeperson  who is an enthusiastic team player.
  • Standard 38 hour week, Monday to Friday (with some overtime may apply from time to time).

Summary of duties

  • Pick and pack parts. Accurately pick parts from customers according to priority of orders and pick sheets.
  • Stock order. Assist with unloading/unpacking stock orders and restocking bins with stock items ensuring accuracy of locations.
  • Packaging. Effectively packing orders for county deliveries to prevent damage, to minimise wasted space and packaging materials.
  • Credit returns. Check credit returns and return to bin locations.
  • Housekeeping. Ensure the warehouse and bin locations are maintained in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
  • Forklift operation. Use forklift as required to unload containers and move stock.
  • Driving a Manual LWB Van or Manual light truck under 4.5 Tonne
  • Pack and deliver items in Sydney Metro area.
  • Other store person duties as required.
