This full-time Medical Receptionist role at Hunter Doctors' in Cessnock, NSW presents an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team providing exceptional care and support to patients. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for all those who interact with the practice.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Using Best Practice software for Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently
• Handling telephone enquiries and booking requests
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical histories
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
• Promoting and maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
• Providing general support to the clinical team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
• Experience with Best Practice software
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, patient, and professional demeanour
• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and standard office applications
• A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment
