About the role

This casual Practice Nurse role at Hunter Doctors' in Cessnock, NSW presents an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team providing exceptional nursing care to patients. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for all those who interact with the practice.

  • Providing general support to the clinical team as required

What we're looking for

  • Proactive RN with Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience as Practice Nurse
  • Experience with Best Practice software
  • Chronic Condition Management, Health assessments, Care planning
  • Experience in immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, health assessments, ECG, and assisting with minor procedures
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in general practice or primary healthcare settings
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, patient, and professional demeanour
  • Proficiency in using medical practice management software and standard office applications
  • Current CPR certification and basic life support training
