We are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Clinical Psychologists, Health Psychologists, or Clinical Neuropsychologists to join our Allied Health Psychology team.

If you are a clinician with a high degree of initiative and interest in providing advanced clinical assessment, intervention and consultation within a community public health setting, we are looking for you

The role is within the Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) and you will have the opportunity to provide targeted care and interventions to improve the psychological health of people with chronic diseases and /or complex care-needs. Services are provided at Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre and Craigieburn Centre sites of Northern Health.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role will involve:

• Specialist psychological assessment, intervention and consultation
• Multidisciplinary collaboration
• Working with a diverse patient population with varied care needs
• Opportunities for clinical leadership

This is a Grade 2 or EFT / 32 hours per fortnight) position.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• An enthusiastic, adaptable and collaborative style
• Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Experience in psychological intervention
• Experience in public health settings
