Your Role
As a Motor Assessor, you'll apply your technical expertise to assess and quantify motor claims, ensuring sound outcomes that meet member expectations and uphold the integrity of our insurance products. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional member experience, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support safe, effective vehicle repairs.
This role involves both on-road and central assessing responsibilities, with a strong focus on customer service, risk management, and cost-effective repair strategies. You'll be part of a team that values empathy, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time, salaried opportunity offering hybrid working conditions. This role is based in Brisbane and full training will be provided to support your success in this role.
About You
You're passionate about the automotive industry and delivering quality customer service. You bring technical expertise and a collaborative mindset, supported by the following:
- Trade qualifications in Panel Beating, Spray Painting or Motor Mechanics
- 3–5 years of relevant experience (5–7 years desirable)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and negotiation skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time, tasks and priorities effectively
- Knowledge of repair industry practices and RACQ procedures (desirable)
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory)
