Project OverviewThe South Perth Kensington Project will require the undergrounding of existing distribution assets, including high and low voltage (HV and LV) poles, overhead conductors, transformers, drop-out fuses, disconnectors, and aerial customer connection points. The scope includes the installation of electrical cables and associated distribution equipment, the laying and connection of underground consumer mains, and the installation and connection of streetlighting systems. It also involves the safe removal and salvage of overhead distribution lines and equipment, as well as establishing new interface connections to the overhead distribution network to ensure a smooth transition and reliable power supply. The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and coordinate civil construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction methodologies, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for civil construction works.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage labor resources, materials, and equipment efficiently.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
  • Ensure timely execution of tasks in accordance with project schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and workers.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily progress reports.
  • Resolve site-related issues and report any delays or challenges to management.
  • Ensure proper documentation of work progress, inspections, and material usage.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures on-site.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3 Years+ proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Western Power NAC Card (Desirable)
  • Australian drivers licence – HR Class
  • Provide daily direction, instruction, and guidance to the project team to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with management system to achieve Field Team performance standards for improvement.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent leadership experience and skills in advising and coaching diverse stakeholder groups.
