Position Overview

Naracoorte HS is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior/Middle School teacher specialising in Health and Physical Education (HPE) plus another subject (e.g. HASS, Arts, STEM, or other). The successful candidate will work collaboratively to engage and inspire learners through effective teaching practices, aligned with the South Australian Curriculum and the values of Naracoorte HS.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging HPE lessons for Junior and Middle School students, incorporating fitness, teamwork, and wellbeing initiatives.

• Teach an additional subject area (negotiated) tailored to the needs of the school and the skillset of the candidate.

• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners to achieve their full potential.

• Use data and evidence-based practices to inform teaching strategies and accommodate diverse learning needs.

• Actively promote the school?s values of Respect, Responsibility, and Integrity in all interactions.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and implement whole-school initiatives.

• Develop positive relationships with students, families, and the broader school community to enhance learning outcomes.

• Embrace professional development opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
