Software Engineer - .NET, React, Azure | Cloud-Native Environment
Our client is growing and looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their high-performing team. If you enjoy solving real-world problems, shipping high-quality software, and working with modern cloud-native technologies, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.
You'll work across the full stack using React, .NET (C#), Azure, and event-driven, microservices-based architecture. This role suits an engineer who thrives in an agile, collaborative environment and takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React, .NET (C#), Azure.
- Work across the full stack - front-end UI, back-end APIs, mobile, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ship features frequently using CI/CD and agile delivery practices.
- Apply domain-driven design and event-driven architecture principles.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code.
- Collaborate with BAs, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver high-impact features.
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Monitor and maintain production systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement observability: logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Embed secure coding and application security best practices.
- Maintain strong automated test coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Improve developer experience, tooling, and workflows.
- Contribute to database design and optimisation (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL).
- Take ownership of features from concept through to deployment and support.

- Strong experience across .NET (C#), React, Azure, and modern web application development.
- Passionate about clean code, thoughtful system design, and building real customer value.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and always looking for ways to increase efficiency and leverage.
- Comfortable taking responsibility and owning features end-to-end.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
