The ROLE

  • Provide leadership, supervision and technical support to the Light Vehicle team with a strong focus on growing internal and external relationships.
  • Manage our long-standing external contracts including Hydro Tasmania and Motorola.
  • Contribute to training and succession plans to ensure operational excellence is achieved and sustained in the long term.
  • Oversee and coordinate AIS vehicle inspection and liaise with the Department of State Growth.
  • Experience with scheduling, job delegation and coordination of employees.
  • Leading preventative maintenance programs with sound knowledge of job costing and time frames.

About YOU

  • Light Vehicle Trade Qualification.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Sound knowledge of R&M for Light Vehicles – variety of makes & models.
  • Sound influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills including the ability to advocate change and win over resistance.
  • Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, commercial strategy, and financial management skills​.
