About the Centre/Service

Situated in the foothills of the high country, Mansfield Kindergarten promotes a holistic approach to children's learning and development. All children are provided a quality education within a nurturing, stimulating and caring environment. The kindergarten is in the centre of town and is managed by the parents of children currently attending. We acknowledge and respect the Traditional Owners of the land on which we learn and play, the Taungurung people. We teach our children about reconciliation and are actively contributing to our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our kinder community is committed to the child safe standards. We want our children to be safe, happy and empowered. We offer programs for both 3 and 4-year-old children. Our kindergarten has recently been renovated, and we have state of the art classrooms and grounds filled with beautiful trees. Description

We are seeking a CertIII or Diploma qualified educator to be an additional educator in our much loved 4-year-old Earth Kinder program which runs every Monday offsite at the local wetlands. Additionally, this role would also support both teachers and educators onsite in both our 3- and 4-year-old groups over their lunch breaks on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Commencing in 2026 the role is 10.5 hours a week. We seek someone who is adaptable to different routines as they will be entering each class at different times, someone who is positive and someone who has a great memory to remember all the children's names at our kinder Location incentives of up to $9,000 are available for the right applicant.
