We're Hiring – Service Designer (Federal Government Project)

Location: ACT,VIC | Clearance: Baseline (active required) | Type: Contract

Join a high-profile federal government program and help shape impactful, user-focused services. We're looking for an experienced Service Designer to lead research, prototyping, and testing of service designs within a multidisciplinary team of business analysts, architects, and subject matter experts.

Requirements:

Australian citizenship.

Security Clearance: Baseline

Contract:12 months

Location: ACT, VIC

Working arrangements Hybrid

What You'll Do:

Lead and deliver service design activities across pre-discovery, discovery, design, and delivery phases.

Plan, facilitate, and document user interviews, workshops, and journey mapping.

Analyse current and desired business states, balancing user and business needs.

Create and deliver high-quality service design artefacts and communication materials.

Improve user experience through human-centred design thinking.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders and guide less experienced team members.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years' experience in service design, with strong human-centred design expertise.

Proven ability to work autonomously and in agile multidisciplinary teams.

Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.

Experience driving business process improvements and capability maturity uplift.

Active Baseline security clearance.

Highly Regarded:

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.

Experience in agile delivery environments.
