We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised professional to take on the role of Sports and Activities Administrator at A.B. Paterson College, commencing Term 1, 2026. This full-time, term-time position is integral to the success of our extensive co-curricular program, which includes a wide range of sporting, cultural, and academic activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and manage the scheduling, logistics, and administration of sports fixtures, cultural events, and interschool competitions.
  2. Serve as a key point of contact for students, staff, parents, and external organisations, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  3. Maintain accurate records of participation, results, and compliance requirements, including risk management and child safety standards.
  4. Support coaches and activity leaders by providing administrative assistance, organising venues, transport, and equipment.
  5. Promote College values by fostering a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in administrative support, preferably within a school or sporting environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team member who contributes positively to College life
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and scheduling.
  • Competency in using digital tools and systems for communication, scheduling, and data management.
  • Current CPR and First Aid training, or willingness to obtain
  • Current Blue Card, Working With Children Check is a requirement of this position
