About the Role

As Assistant Gym Manager, you will support the Club Manager in the day-to-day operations of the gym while delivering outstanding member experiences. You'll play a key role in sales, team support, marketing, and managing the club's social media presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily club operations and staff supervision
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests
  • Drive membership sales, tours, and retention initiatives
  • Create and manage engaging social media content (photos, videos, reels, stories, and captions)
  • Support marketing campaigns and local community outreach
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation
  • Handle enquiries, administration, and basic reporting
  • Step into Club Manager duties when required

About You

  • Passionate about health, fitness, and people
  • Comfortable creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok preferred)
  • Previous experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, sales, or marketing preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales-driven with a customer-first mindset
  • Reliable, organised, and able to multitask
  • Confident supporting a team in a leadership capacity
  • Flexible availability (including evenings and weekends)
