Your new role:

We are currently recruiting a Program Manager to manage key customer accounts and associated programs to deliver profitable and sustainable results.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure customer expectations and requirements are managed and achieved
• Assist in the development of sales forecasts and budgets for future years
• Coordinate the update of sales pipeline for manufacturing programs
• Ensure manufacturing orders are produced in a timely manner as to allow adequate lead time for production and despatch of customer orders
• Lead Sales and Operations planning activities (demand, capacity and material planning) with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain
• Engage with Supply chain partners & subcontractors to support the success of the program being managed
• Develop strategies for key customers to expand existing programs
• Manage the bid process to ensure timely, competitive and value add submissions are supplied to the customer
• Work closely with the Business Line Manager to generate new leads

The successful candidate will bring:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable (Engineering, Business, Project Management) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in Defence and Aerospace Manufacturing, with a strong understanding of industry standards and practices.
• Highly collaborative approach to achieving organisational objectives and driving successful outcomes.
• Professional, approachable, and customer-focused, with a positive and energetic attitude.
• Strong ability to manage customer expectations and requirements, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
• Skilled in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects effectively.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, building trust and engagement across all levels.
• Advanced project management expertise, including handling complex projects, multiple priorities, budgets, timelines, and diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in developing and presenting bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
• Experience in contract development and negotiation, ensuring compliance and favourable outcomes.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial information to support decision-making and project success.
• Baseline security clearance desirable
