Qualified Florist

You'll be joining a warm, creative floral boutique in Carlisle, WA, with a loyal local following and a legacy of beautifully crafted arrangements.

Position Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Florist with a passion for design and a minimum of 2 years hands-on floristry experience. A formal qualification in floristry (e.g. Certificate III) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and assemble bespoke floral arrangements for weddings, events, corporate clients, sympathy tributes, and everyday orders
• Prepare, condition and maintain fresh cut flowers and foliage
• Manage daily retail and walk-in/custom orders and payments
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure freshness of stock
• Keep the workshop and display areas clean, tidy and well‑presented
• Collaborate on seasonal displays and promotional floral collections

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years as a working florist, preferably in retail floral environments
• Formal floristry qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Floristry) strongly recommended
• Deep knowledge of flower varieties, seasonal use, preservation techniques and fresh design trends
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with creativity, time management and independently
• Reliable, professional and a team‑oriented approach
