Qualified Florist

You’ll be joining a warm, creative floral boutique in Carlisle, WA, with a loyal local following and a legacy of beautifully crafted arrangements.

**Position Summary**:
Seeking a dedicated Florist with a passion for design and a minimum of **2 years hands-on floristry experience**. A formal qualification in floristry (e.g. Certificate III) is highly desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and assemble bespoke floral arrangements for weddings, events, corporate clients, sympathy tributes, and everyday orders
- Prepare, condition and maintain fresh cut flowers and foliage
- Manage daily retail and walk-in/custom orders and payments
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure freshness of stock
- Keep the workshop and display areas clean, tidy and well‑presented
- Collaborate on seasonal displays and promotional floral collections

**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years as a working florist, preferably in retail floral environments
- Formal floristry qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Floristry) strongly recommended
- Deep knowledge of flower varieties, seasonal use, preservation techniques and fresh design trends
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work with creativity, time management and independently
- Reliable, professional and a team‑oriented approach
