About the Opportunity

We're representing a respected Adelaide-based contractor specialising in air conditioning and electrical installations for new residential builds. With long-term builder partnerships and a consistent pipeline of work across the metro area, they're growing their field team and offering a rare opportunity for a qualified electrician to step into the HVAC industry.

This is clean, well-structured work with new homes, organised sites, consistent hours, and no after-hours callouts.

You'll also have the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised refrigeration qualification that leads to your ARCtick Licence and opens a clear pathway toward dual-trade certification.

The Role

  • Electrical installation and commissioning of split-system and ducted air conditioning systems in new residential homes.
  • Wiring of isolators, controls, and connection of indoor and outdoor units to AS/NZS standards.
  • Collaborate with refrigeration mechanics and site supervisors to deliver compliant, high-quality installs.
  • Maintain tidy, safe, and professional work on every site.
  • Standard 8-hour days (7:30-8:00am start), with optional Saturday overtime available.

  • $40-$45 per hour + 12% super, depending on experience

Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician)
  • A-Class Electrical Licence (SA)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Current Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded / Bonus:

  • ARCtick Licence or Certificate II / III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • Working at Heights ticket
  • Experience in residential new-build installations
