- Have a current VIT Registration.

- Participate in the implementation of the MACS Flourishing Learners Vision For Instruction.
- Have opportunities for external Professional Development
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of curriculum for EAL learners in primary school settings
- Deep understanding of second language acquisition, language development and strategies to support EAL students
- Proven ability to build teacher capacity through coaching, mentoring and professional learning
- Experience assessing student needs, analysing data and using evidence to inform practice and school improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff, families, students and external agencies
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity and promotes high expectations for all students
- Knowledge of current educational policies, practices and compliance requirements including child safety standards
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education, be familiar and comply with the school's Child-Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.

Special Requirements
- Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- A willingness to obtain accreditation to teach in a Catholic School
