About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Assistant in Nursing.

This position will enable you to have the opportunity to work whilst you are studying and gain valuable nursing experience and skills as a result. It will allow you to learn within a supportive team environment and grow your clinical skills.
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will support Enrolled and Registered Nurses in the delivery of general patient/client care and undertake basic nursing duties that would otherwise have been performed by an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.

To be eligible for this position, you must be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing or midwifery and have completed any training required by the employer relevant to the safe and competent performance of work at this level.
Applicants who are in the 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate Nursing Degree or final year of Graduate Entry (Flinders Uni) or Masters of Clinical Nursing (Adelaide Uni) are eligible.

Lyell McEwin Hospital – The major hospital in the north and north-east for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetrics, paediatrics and outpatient services.
Modbury Hospital – A general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
