YOUR ROLE
As the Electrical Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the electrical components for all the site buildings, services & shift production related areas, which includes Coil store, Effluent Plant, Treatment Room, Boiler Room, Chemical store, Bailer Room, Front End Production and Back End Production including palletiser.
This role is both on the tools and office based, you will need to have a strong understanding of a time sensitive FMCG environment and be comfortable working on complex manufacturing machinery. You will need to understand PLC's and be familiar with programming and repairing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading and managing the Electrical Team and actively working towards continuously improving the performance of the production team to exceed production and quality demands which involves:-
Actively manage the performance of team members.
Maintain good industrial relations on site via personal involvement in the resolution of site issues.
Actively participates in improvement programs
Actively engaging with external suppliers of parts and equipment
Managing R&M cost
Responsible for allocating work to team members to ensure Shift production is run to meet production and quality targets
Ensures breakdown or adjustments to equipment are corrected in a timely manner to minimise downtime and communicated to management.
Resolves minor breakdowns
Maintains electrical PM schedule for the plant
Attend the daily operational meetings
Perform other tasks as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Mandatory
A Grade electrical License
Experienced in PLC programming
Proven track record in Health and Safety
Exposure to FMCG
Desirable
Experience in a related industry would be highly regarded
Experience in Vision Inspection systems
Lean production management exposure
Instrumentation and electronics
CMMS (Computer maintenance management system) and maintenance planning experience
Experience in an ISO manufacturing environment
Forklift license
